SOS Assignments

Wizards Unite has finally released! And along with it, a number of quests were added, called SOS Assignments. These quests help give new players something to aim for and they also all have dialogue associated with them to help set the tone and give history on the Calamity.

Work with Constance Pickering in an expanded role within the Statute of Secrecy Task Force. These SOS Investigation Assignments are not just about containing the Calamity, but helping the Ministry to better understand it.

This was one of the harder pieces of data to extract from the game. The tasks and level requirements were pulled from the GameDataWrapper, converted into strings with a series of scripts, built into an HTML list format, then manually edited to replace some IDs which didn't convert cleanly to readable strings and some numerical values which should show up as text. Due to this, there may be some minor errors or wording differences between my list and what will show up in game.

Some insight into the decoding process

All together, there are 15 pages of assignments to be completed. Each page rewards 5 coins and the tasks on each page reward 50, 100, and 300 XP from top to bottom. Without further ado, here they all are:
